BREAKING NEWS:

Starball will head inside the arena for off the wall action in 25-26 with MLIS.

By Delorean Fleetwood

Los Angeles, CA: Starball Sports and Entertainment will be heading inside the arena for off the wall action, as we will be covering the MLIS umbrella of leagues this upcoming season.

CEO Delorean Fleetwood had this to say about this decision:

“This was an easy decision to make after being a long-time fan of the sport going back to watching the old Continental Indoor Soccer League in the 90s. The Portland Pythons of the World Indoor Soccer League played in my hometown at the Rose Garden and captured my heart just as the Pride did a few years prior. High flying missiles that leave a mark and awestruck fan in all of us make the sport incredibly fun to watch. After having the privilege to cover the MLIS Finals at the Wolstein Center in April, I believe the time was now to take this course of action.”

The WMLIS will be covered as well

But that’s not the only league we will be covering as the WMLIS will also be in the works for coverage. “I had the privilege of seeing over 700 at the Wolstein Center in April, a record for an indoor women’s Final event, and saw what players like Stephanie Nunez and the Sweigard sisters can do for the growth of this league. With teams in Vegas, Salt Lake, and Phoenix in the works, the WMLIS is grounded and growing as it gets ready to kick off its sophomore season.” Fleetwood later added.

MLISX will also be covered this season

Last but not least, Starball has its sights on covering MLISX. MLISX will function with low-cost operations of $1500 per team. Regional action will be the focus, much like what is seen in USL League Two, NPSL, UPSL, and the League For Clubs. Regional and national tournaments will also mark the December-March inagural season as the MLISX Champions will be given the opportunity to be promoted to MLIS in the future. Fleetwood remarked about the new league stating: “With a widespread, short sprint of a winter league that mimics the USL League Two, NPSL, UPSL and League For Clubs, the MLISX will bring an exciting brand of the beautiful game indoors at the very grassroots level that makes the aforementioned leagues local favorites for fans of all ages. This will allow the brand to grow at those very same levels. This is an exciting development, and I can not state the excitement we have about this. As a fan of those other leagues I just mentioned, this is a huge development for the MLIS brand of leagues.”
