White Rock, British Columbia and Lake Cowichan, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada: In a surprise announcement for Monday morning, Delorean Fleetwood, CEO, Editor in Chief, and Founder of Starball Sports and Entertainment has added junior hockey (Junior B, or in the case of BC Hockey, they call it Junior A “tier 2”) to Starball’s portfolio of league and sports coverage going in 2026 with an estimated beginning yet to be determined. “In 2022, I grew to ultimately love these two leagues we will be covering in the near future and came to discover the rich heritage and history that both these leagues have. Both leagues go back to the mid-1960s, 65 and 66, to be exact. As an avid fan and supporter of the White Rock Whalers (PJHL) and Lake Cowichan Kraken (VIJHL), it pleases me to announce we will be covering these often overlooked junior hockey leagues. Please stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.”
The Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League (VIJHL) and Pacific Junior Hockey League (PJHL) will be covered in the near future at a date to be determined.
