Starball will cover the NAHL in the future

By Delorean Fleetwood

Dallas, TX: Starball Sports and Entertainment will be dipping their toes further into the ranks of junior hockey this season as the North American Hockey League will be covered in the near future. The time and start date for this coverage is still TBD.

Delorean Fleetwood had this to say regarding the announcement of the NAHL from his bedside in Vegas early Wednesday morning.

“I am excited to announce that a league I have been following since 2018 will be on our radar for coverage in the near future. The NAHL has been a bedrock for grassroots hockey communities for more than 50 years now, with 34 teams in 19 states as of 2025-26. From the Last Frontier of Alaska to the Deep South of Louisiana and old Southwest of New Mexico. From the New England states and Midwest down all the way to Texas, the NAHL has been a robust scene for hockey fans everywhere. Please join us as we embark on this new exciting chapter that embraces grassroots hockey in America at its core.”

The NAHL has 34 teams across 19 states

Dubbed “The League of Opportunity,” the NAHL is the only tier II junior hockey league with USA Hockey sanctioning. With 34 teams spanning across 19 states, it is the largest junior hockey league in North America, not only by the size of landmass covered but by the number of teams in their league. The NAHL celebrated its 50th anniversary this last season.
