Quebec City, Quebec, Canada: Starball Sports and Entertainment will be covering the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League in the near future. “The Q” will be the next step in junior hockey coverage. One-third of the CHL, the QMJHL, is compromised of 18 teams across five different Eastern Canadian provinces, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland and Labrador.The QMJHL has 18 teams across five different Eastern Canadian Provinces.
In a statement released during his business trip in Vegas, CEO Delorean Fleetwood had this to say about the news regarding the Q:
“Some of the game of ice hockeys best scorers in history have spent time piling up the points and highlight reels in the QHL on their way to winning the Gilles-Corteau Cup, Memorial Cup, and Stanley Cup in their careers. Guy Lafleur, Mario Lemieux, Sidney Crosby, and Nathan MacKinnnon are textbook examples of the rich history of the league churning out top talent. We are not only looking forward to covering the QHL in the future but also making trips to see teams in this league as well. The Quebec Remparts are my favorite.”
