Lafayette, IN: MLISX has added FC Indiana based in Lafayette, Indiana, for the 2025-26 MLISX season. Located 90 miles east of Champaign, Illinois, and 62 miles northwest of Indianapolis, Lafayette is a small Hoosier State college town with just under 72,000. It is most notable as the home of Big Ten Conference team Purdue. However, yesterday’s announcement brought an interesting wrinkle to the teams season. They are playing in Fort Wayne, not Lafayette, for the upcoming season. Originally founded in 2000 as an NPSL team with a men and women’s squad, the team now focuses on youth development. The team left the NPSL after the 2019-20 campaign.
