Merry Christmas everyone and thank you so much for all the support that myself and Starball Sports and Entertainment have received throughout 2025!
The year of 2025 was a truly special one that spells like a Genesis tale. Not only did I cover my first official tournament (2025 MLIS and WMLIS Finals in Cleveland), but I graduated from the Dan Patrick School Of Sportscasting at Full Sail University in May.
As the old saying goes “Rome wasn’t built in a day”, well I can say the very came thing about myself and Starball. I can say with absolute honesty that I had envisioned being a lot further down the road in that journey. I broke my arm while on my way home from a former job at a Taco Bell that I once had. Not only that, but finances prevented me from being able to take my career to the next level. That will soon be fully taken care of. And here’s why:
YOUTUBE SHOWS
That’s right! Starball will soon be launching shows allocated to different sports depending on the day. For example, one dedicated for hockey (Hockey Night at Starball). And Soccer Sunday which will be dedicated to teams and leagues that will be covered in the future.
Speaking of which….
USL/NWSL
Both the USL umbrella of leagues and the NWSL will be covered in the near future. The announcement was initially planned shortly after the Pittsburgh Riverhounds won the USL Cup over Tulsa, but was delayed for a bigger announcement.
The NWSL has long been a target of mine to cover. This will be made a reality as we turn the calendar into 2026 with new expansion teams on the horizon and into 2027 as well.
But that’s not all…..
INSIDE THE ARENA
We head Inside The Arena for 2026 as we will not only be covering the Indoor Football League, but The Arena League as well. Both the TAL and IFL will be part of our PRIMETIME coverage for Arena and Indoor Football. PRIMETIME is likely to air on Mondays.
As for hockey nights…..
ECHL/AHL/SPHL
The ECHL (formerly East Coast Hockey League), AHL (American Hockey League), and SPHL (Southern Professional Hockey League) will be part of our wide umbrella coverage for the sport of violent gentlemen. With a vast array of leagues to cover starting in 2026, I am very excited to see this net casted out soon.
Well, that about covers the new league announcements.
FINAL REMARKS
I will start by saying that our shows will NOT be live on YouTube. They will be prerecorded prior to going up online. This will be the format for at least the foreseeable future.
Next, catch me writing articles on Arena Football Talk during the upcoming 2026 season as well. Hopefully this joint partnership will give both AFT and Starball the coverage it deserves. And there’s one more thing I wanted to mention….
OLYMPICS
That’s correct! I might very well be going to Italy for the Winter Games in just a few months…. I’ll keep you all posted with that one.
