Starball Sports and Entertainment was founded by our CEO, Founder, and Editor in Chief, Delorean Fleetwood, back on November 20th, 2020 during the raging heights of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The goal of Starball was not only to cover as many sports possible, but give a space for the fans of those sports. Fleetwood believed that by making yourself as multifacted as possible in the industry, you gave yourself more opportunites to draw as many fans possible in those sports.
A recent graduate of the Dan Patrick School of Sportscasting at Full Sail University, Fleetwood enjoys traveling to many sporting events in his spare time while also building Starball as the true Worldwide Leader in Sports. Delorean was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. He grew up watching the Blazers along with the Fire, Forest Dragons, Lumberjax, Pythons, and last but not least, the USL Timbers back in the 2000’s. These niche communities and their tightly knit fabric gave Fleetwood the perfect idea to start Starball.
When he’s not planning his next touchdown on the industry, Delorean enjoys his time cooking, traveling, and video gaming in his spare time. He also plays a number of sports in his spare time including rugby and ball hockey. His favorite video games include the Kingdom Hearts series, Mario (He loves Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. 3), Donkey Kong, Legend of Zelda (favorites are the Oracle games, Skyward Sword and last but certinaly not least, Link to the Past, his favorite in the series), Kirby (Kirby’s Adventure and Kirby 64 are his favorites, along with Kirby’s Dreamland 3) and Final Fantasy (when he’s not KILLING CHAOS, his favorites in the series are IV, VI, and VII. VIII and IX are some of his favorites and he loves II and III as well) among many other. He is also a huge anime fan with One Piece being his favorite. He often says Luffy is his doppleganger due to their strikingly similar natures, beliefs, and goals. Both are Taurus men too! Delorean Fleetwood is a lot more than meets the eye.
May his heart be our guiding key. Hebrews 11:1.
