VIVA TURF MONSTERS

By Delorean Fleetwood
Las Vegas, NV: The MLIS Las Vegas team announced earlier today that they will be known as the Las Vegas Turf Monsters. Originally announced back on November 27th, 2024, the Turf Monsters will be competing in the South Division along with Amarillo, Dallas, Orlando, Salt Lake City, and Boulder (Colorado). The new North Division will consist of Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Toronto (Canadian Crusaders), Lansing, Fort Wayne (Summit City), Rockford, and Chicago.
From CEO Delorean Fleetwood:
“We are excited to not only see the new identity of a team that we look forward to covering in the future, but continuing the legacy of the beautiful game indoors in Sin City. In fact, the CISL Dustdevils were the very first professional sports team in Las Vegas that won a world championship of any kind. It’s true. The Las Vegas Dustdevils won the CISL Championship back in 1994.”
