Toronto, ON, Canada: Starball Sports and Entertainment will add the Canadian Football League to it’s ever growing list of league coverage beginning in 2027.
The CFL and it’s three down, 12 player game, will be making some massive changes next year. Long known for it’s 110 yard field and 25 yard endzones, in 1986, the endzones were shortened to 20 yards (BC Place, the home of the Lions could only hold 20 yard endzones when it opened in 1983, which led to positive feedback from players around the league, resulting in the eventual change).

Beginning next year, that will change once more. The endzones will be shortened to 15 yards, with the field size shortened to the standard 100 yard field that their American neighbors have grown accustomed to. Not only that, but the goalpost will be moved back from the goalline to the endline.
The 2027 CFL season will be a memorable one, for better or worse, as fans were quite vocal about the changes being made.
