The Arizona Rattlers take on the Green Bay Blizzard at Tucson Arena

4:51 PM PST

Blizzard start off with a deuce and force a turnover on downs after Arizona won the toss and elected to receive. Blizzard then scored off a deflected pass for their first touchdown. Extra point is good. 9-0 Blizzard early in the first.

5:02 PM PST

Rattlers convert a 4th down early in the drive, ultimately scoring their first touchdown on 3rd and goal. Extra point is good. 9-7 Green Bay in the first.

5:12 PM PST

Blizzard end the quarter facing a 3rd down just inside the 10. 9-7 Green Bay when we come back.

5:17 PM PST

Blizzard score and Mevis’ extra point is good. 16-7 early in the second.

5:26 PM PST

Rattlers strike back with a two yard TD pass on 4th and goal. Extra point is good. It’s 16-14 Blizzard nearing the halfway point of the 2nd quarter.

After a Rattlers Deuce, IFL MVP Liam Thompson leads a brilliant drive with his arms and legs to give the Blizzard the lead 23-16. One Minute Warning. Rattlers will get a chance to tie before halftime. Blizzard will receive the 2nd half kickoff.

5:57 PM PST

Arizona scored with just four seconds left to tie it up. Green Bay missed a field goal after the Rattlers shanked the kick off. After a lengthy discussion, officials put one second left on the clock as the kick hit the speaker system above.  Arizona, however, would miss a field as well, leaving us tied at halftime, 23-23.

We are underway in the 2nd half! Arizona nails a deuce to snag a slim 25-23 lead.

6:13 PM PST

Blizzard respond quickly, scoring on their opening drive in the second half. Extra point makes it 30-25 Blizzard, with 12:36 to go in the third.

After a Mevis Deuce, Arizona makes a brilliant play on 3rd and goal from the 10 to tie things up. Extra point makes it 32-32 with just under seven minutes to go in the third.

Arizona gets a stop on downs. Rattlers ball still tied.

Arizona wasted no time getting on the board once again. Extra point makes it 39-32 Arizona. Just 28 seconds left in the third quarter.

Arizona misses the deuce, but with a running clock, Green Bay will not take the first snap of the drive until we start the fourth and final quarter. Arizona leads 39-32.

6:46 PM PST

Holy Cheese! Blizzard score on the first play on a toss sweep. Extra point makes it 39-39. 14:11 left.

Arizona takes the lead right back on a third and six run by Max Meylor. Extra point makes it 46-39 with 11:05 left

7PM PST

Blizzard score with exactly nine minutes to go, but a botched extra point snap leads to a Rattlers conversation, giving them an improbable 48-45 lead. Huge turn of events. Blizzard miss the deuce attempt.

Arizona’s previous play is under review. As it stands they have it first and goal at the Blizzard one yard line, leading 48-45 with six and half remaining.

Arizona scores anyways, despite the call placing the ball a few yards back. Extra point gives Arizona a 55-45 lead. Just 4:36 remaining. Onside kicks likely to come into play very soon.

Blizzard score quickly but fail the two point conversion, making it 55-51 Arizona with just 2:27 left. Rattlers recover the onside kick. 2:26 to go.

Let’s go Rattlers is heard throughout the Tucson Arena as Arizona is just 77 seconds away from winning the 2026 IFL National Championship. Timeout Green Bay.

Arizona scores and extends their lead to 62-51. Green Bay will need a miracle to snag their first ever League Championship, as we hit the One Minute Warning.

Arizona forced a Liam Thompson fumble to seal the Arizona Rattlers 62-51 win over the Green Bay Blizzard. The Arizona Rattlers are your 2026 IFL National Champions!
